The Board of Education discussed/voted on the following items during our regular Board of Education meeting on Monday, January 10, 2022:
- Dr. David York from First United Methodist Church gave a presentation on the Equal Justice Initiative.
- Superintendent Wessel gave an overview of the District Financial Information:
- The BOE voted and unanimously approved the following Director reports:

The board voted and approved moving the election of school board officers to January. Pete Robinson was voted in as Board President, and Jeff Bollin was voted in as Vice-President.
- The board voted and approved the Resolution to Establish Board's Regular Meeting Dates during the July 11, 2022 meeting date.
- The board voted and approved Michelle McQuillan, Carla Wiegers, and Mary Wood to the 2021-2022 Negotiations Committee.
- The board voted to send the 2022-2023 school calendar draft back to the Calendar Committee for amendments.
- The board voted to extend the Covid leave to include unvaccinated staff and retroactively cover unvaccinated staff.
- The board voted and approved the Child COVID-19 Contact Tracing Consent Form.
- The board voted and approved the proposed work sessions that will be held the last Monday of January, February, March, April, September, and October 24, 2022.
- The board voted on and approved staff changes. We want to welcome the following individuals to the Lansing USD 469 family:
