SUBSTITUTE TEACHER INFORMATION |
Thank you for your interest in serving as a substitute teacher in the Lansing School District. We believe that all adults in our schools greatly impact the learning environment of the young people in the district. Your role as a substitute teacher is an important and challenging one. We want your experience in our schools to be as positive and rewarding as possible, and we want to ensure that your presence in the classroom supports our high expectations for student learning.
The Lansing School District will be conducting a substitute orientation to acquaint all substitute teachers with district philosophy, policy, safety protocols, and procedures. We will also have training on the sub-calling system and payroll procedures. The orientation is scheduled for the following date and time:
Monday, July 25, 2022
To substitute in the Lansing School District, NEW substitute teachers will be completing online applications. If you are already on our substitute teaching list, you do not need to fill out the online application. Please click below for instructions on accessing our FastTrack online application system.
