Other Strategic Plans
The facilitators in the "Strategic Plan Comparison" room were LHS Principal Dr. Alan Penrose and LIS Principal Martin Altieri. They presented strategic plans from similar districts and gathered feedback on the likes and dislikes from each.
Examples of other Strategic Plans:
- Geary County USD475: 2021-2026 Strategic Plan
- Piper USD203: #FutureReady Strategic Plan
- Tonganoxie USD464: Strategic Plan 2017-2020
Once each group had given their feedback on the comparable strategic plans, Dr. Penrose and Mr. Altieri met with their original group to gather their main areas of focus:

-
Communication: Surveys should include short answers to explain if they disagreed with the given question
-
Human Capital: New teachers should visit the school they want to come to (high school) in order to see what we have to offer. We have a unique environment and should use it to our advantage. Lots of respect and less disciplinary action.
