Great job to all students, staff members, and Lansing Middle School (LMS) families who participated in the "Choose to Include" Special Olympics 5k on Saturday, November 6th. Our students and staff members represented the LMS team well, with the following awards being earned:
- Owen Kannaday got first place overall in the race as well as first place in his age division.
- Reece Mattingly placed second in his age division.
- Quincy Wade received third place in his age division.
- Piper Kobb placed first in her age division.
- Mrs. Emerald Peters placed second in her age division.
Most importantly, the LMS Puzzle Club raised a little over $800 for the Unified Special Olympics of KC. Thank you to everyone who donated, and great job to our athletes!
