January is Board of Education Recognition Month! Board Member Spotlight: Kirsten Workman
January is School Board Appreciation Month! Please join us as we show appreciation to our school board members for volunteering their time and advocating on behalf of every child in our community. We will be featuring each school board member on the website throughout the month.
Today's spotlight will be on our Lansing USD469 Board Member Kirsten Workman.
Kirsten Workman is a Christian, a wife and mother, a registered nurse, and a professional educator. She holds a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kirsten has practiced nursing since 2009 and has several years of full-time teaching experience as a university-level nursing instructor.
She is a patriot, enjoys gardening and reading, and is an active volunteer in our community and her church.
