Lansing USD 469 Welcomes Ascendra Donald as the Coordinator of Special Education
Ascendra Donald is returning to the Lansing School District as the Coordinator of Special Education to support all district early childhood programs and social/emotional development. Mrs. Donald started her career as an educator in the Shawnee Mission School District in the Parents as Teachers program. She later moved to Lansing USD 469 as our school psychologist for Early Childhood through 8th grade and has served as a school psychologist for the past four years in the Blue Valley School District's early childhood program. We are thrilled to welcome her back to Lansing USD 469!
Mrs. Donald holds a master’s degree and advanced graduate degree in School Psychology from Capella University. Additionally, she holds a building leadership endorsement from Fort Hays State University.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Donald has developed a passion for helping students with unique learning needs meet their full potential. She has served on a variety of leadership teams at the district and building level and has collaboratively developed systems that improve outcomes for students.
