Lansing High School Announces Staff Spirit Day Contest Winner
Spirit Week across the Lansing School District was held during the week of October 19th through October 23rd. Students and staff were asked to wear an outfit supporting a different theme each day leading up to our Lansing High School Homecoming football game. On Monday, the theme was NFL, and students / staff were supposed to wear an outfit supporting their favorite NFL team. On Tuesday, the theme was "country day", so the schools were filled with cowboy hats and boots. On Wednesday, students and staff got to choose between tourist, safari, or hawaiian outfits. On Thursday, everyone was asked to wear anything that represented Lansing Lions.
Lansing High School Principal, Mr. Rob McKim, decided to give a little extra incentive to his staff to participate by holding a contest. He asked each staff member to submit a photo of themselves each day, and he chose a winner at the end of the week. That winner would receive bragging rights and a gift certificate.
The most spirited Lansing High School staff member was determined to be Miss Christina "Hovie" Hoverson.
Congratulations, Miss Hoverson!
GO LIONS!!!!
