First graders have fun with 120th Day projects!
The students in Mrs. Baker's first grade class had fun making 120th activities on Monday, March 9. The class made 120th Day Fruit Loop necklaces, 120th Day crowns, completed a puzzle with 120 pieces, found matching numbers to 120, and wrote 120 words they could read. Later this week, they will create structures using 120 cups, use paint to create a 120th Day mosaic, and make a 120th Day snack mix.
"The parents in my room provided many materials to help make this day so fun for the kiddos," said Mrs. Baker. "Our standard in 1st grade is to count and read to 120 as opposed to the traditional 100 that kindergarteners write and count to."
Fantastic job, Mrs. Baker and students! Keep up the great work!
