Lansing High School will host a Blood Drive on Wednesday, November 13th, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Wrestling Room, and everyone is invited to roll up their sleeves and make a difference!
Sponsored by the Kansas Association for Youth (KAY), this event offers students and community members a chance to give back in a big way. KAY is a student organization dedicated to service, leadership, and character building, with projects that benefit schools, communities, and beyond.

The Elementary third-grade musical performances originally scheduled for this week have been rescheduled to Monday, November 4th at the Lansing District Auditorium.
✨ Performance Times: 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm

REMINDER: No School for Students - November 1, 2024
There will be no school tomorrow, November 1st, as our staff will be participating in a professional development day. We hope all our students have a fun and safe Halloween tonight! We’ll see everyone back in class next week!


Due to the forecast of thunderstorms and possible hail this evening, we have made the decision to cancel our third-grade musicals originally scheduled for tonight. We want to prioritize everyone’s safety and will provide more information soon regarding new dates.

Lansing USD469 is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff. We offer free COVID/flu combo tests to all students and staff members at each of our school buildings. These tests will help us quickly identify cases and keep our school community safe and healthy during flu season and beyond.
In addition to testing, we are fully equipped with epi-pens for severe allergic reactions, Narcan for opioid overdoses, and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to assist in case of cardiac emergencies. These life-saving tools are available at all our schools to address emergencies efficiently.
If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to contact your school's nurse's office.

We would like to remind our families about the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for next week. Classes will be held on Monday and Tuesday as usual, with students having the day off from Wednesday through Friday to accommodate the conferences.
We encourage all parents to attend their student’s conference to discuss academic progress and any questions you may have. Our teachers and administrators are always available to assist with any concerns you might have.
