In the spirit of Halloween, Lansing Middle School math teacher Mrs. Miranda Cote challenged her 8th-grade students with a spooky twist on learning. Students participated in a digital escape room themed around famous movie character Michael Myers.
To make it out alive, students had to solve problems involving slope and linear functions, analyzing data to determine whether relationships qualified as functions. Thanks to their math skills and quick thinking, everyone survived the night... until next Halloween!
