We’re excited to introduce Mrs. Jessica Phillips, our new Career & Tech / Business Teacher at Lansing Middle School! Originally from Santa Rosa, California, Mrs. Phillips now proudly calls Lansing home and brings her creativity, positivity, and passion for preparing students for future success to the classroom.
Mrs. Phillips attended Fort Hays State University and is a proud mom of two boys, one a 2024 Lansing graduate and the other a current junior. She says she loves being part of the same school community her family has grown up in.
Outside of school, Mrs. Phillips enjoys crafting, traveling, reading, swimming, and spending time with her family, especially when they can escape to the mountains or the beach. A true Harry Potter fan, she loves both the books and movies and makes it a tradition to re-read and re-watch the series every year.
As she begins her first year at LMS, Mrs. Phillips admits she was a bit nervous about the transition to middle school but is happy to report that things are going smoothly.
We’re thrilled to welcome Mrs. Phillips to the Lansing Middle School family and can’t wait to see how she inspires students in Career & Tech and Business this year!
