With the first quarter nearly behind us, this is the perfect time to spotlight them. Now that they’ve had time to build connections and find their rhythm, we’re eager for you to meet them and learn about the talents and passion they bring to our school community.
Staff Spotlight: Samantha Dale, 8th-Grade Science Teacher & Lansing Middle School Science Club Sponsor
We’re excited to introduce Ms. Samantha Dale, one of our new 8th-grade Science teachers at Lansing Middle School! Originally from the Olathe/Lenexa area, Ms. Dale attended Wichita State University, where her passion for science and learning truly took root.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Dale is an avid reader, and her favorite book is Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. She has recently taken up running with friends and family. She’s also a longtime participant in the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, where she’s been part of the fun and tradition for the past 14 years!
This school year, Ms. Dale is most excited about bringing more hands-on labs into her classroom and sharing her enthusiasm for Earth and Space science with her students. As she puts it, “Geology rocks!”
We’re thrilled to have Ms. Dale as part of the Lansing Middle School team and can’t wait to see the energy and curiosity she inspires in her students this year.
