Lansing Middle School 8th grade students had such an amazing time learning about new careers last school year that we are excited to continue this opportunity again this year!
Last year, our students benefited from hearing from a wide range of professionals who shared their occupations and the journeys that led them there. Students asked thoughtful questions and walked away with valuable insights into the world of work. In addition, our Lansing High School Pathways also presented to the 8th grade students, giving them an early look at the programs available to them in high school.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Marissa Schmike, Stephanie Merritt, Karen Mitchell, Zack Dent, Anne Krebs, and Shannon Long for their time and dedication to making the Pathway presentations so meaningful for our students.
Continuing the Tradition
This school year, Lansing Middle School will once again host Pathway presentations during 2nd Quarter. In addition, during 1st Quarter and throughout 2nd Semester, we will continue to welcome community members who would like to share their occupations and experiences with our 8th grade students.
We are looking for a wide variety of careers and life experiences to introduce to our students. If you are interested in presenting, please sign up using the link below:
