REMINDER: Bus Registration Now Open for the 2026-2027 School Year
The Lansing School District is excited to remind families that school bus registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. Families who plan to utilize district transportation services are encouraged to register as soon as possible to help ensure a smooth start to the school year.
Bus registration will remain open through July 30, 2026. Early registration allows the district transportation team to efficiently plan routes, assign drivers, and prepare for safe and reliable transportation services for students across the district.

Families can pick up free lunches for children ages 18 and under every Wednesday this summer at the Lansing Community Library.

Fun Run Update for Tomorrow!
Due to the potential for rain tomorrow, our Fun Run is officially moving indoors and becoming a Glow Run!
The Glow Run will take place in the LES gym during each class’s specials time.
Students in 4th and 5th grade at LIS will walk over to the elementary school gym to participate, as long as weather conditions allow for a safe walk.

A notification was also sent through the Bus Compass app. We are grateful to share that no serious injuries have been reported.
