Monday, Sept. 29 – Rhyme Over the Rainbow: Rhyme Without a Reason, Students pair up with a friend and dress in costumes that rhyme, even if they don’t go together.
Examples: Cat & Rat, DJ & PJs, Clock & Rock.
Tuesday, Sept. 30 – Twister Tuesday, Teachers and students swap roles by dressing like each other!
Wednesday, Oct. 1 – Which Witch is Which? Find a friend and wear matching outfits—it’s all about twinning!
Thursday, Oct. 2 – Lions, Moms, and Dads… Oh My! Choose your side: dress up as a Soccer Mom or a BBQ Dad.
Friday, Oct. 3 – Neon Rainbow, End the week in bright spirit! Wear your favorite neon colors. Refer to your building for specific neon colors by grade level (if applicable).

This afternoon, the Lansing Fire Department responded to Lansing Intermediate School due to a faulty smoke detector. Out of an abundance of caution, students and staff were evacuated from the building until the fire department gave the all clear.
At no time were students in danger, and normal activities have now resumed.

Summer 2025 Opportunities for Lansing Students
Lansing High School is excited to offer a lineup of athletic opportunities for students in grades K -12 this summer! Whether your student is looking to stay active, build strength, or sharpen skills for the upcoming season, our 2025 Summer Sports Camp and Strength, Speed, and Conditioning Program are designed to meet their goals in a supportive and structured environment.
Strength, Speed, and Conditioning Program (Grades 2-12)
This program focuses on improving athletic performance through strength training, speed development, and overall conditioning. It is ideal for student-athletes preparing for fall sports and anyone looking to enhance their fitness levels over the summer.
Summer Sports Camps
Sport-specific camps are available for a variety of athletics, including football, volleyball, basketball, and more. These camps are led by our experienced LHS coaching staff and offer fun, skill-based instruction tailored to each age group.

Lansing Middle School is thrilled to welcome families, community members, and guests to the 2nd Annual 8th Grade Math Fair, an event that showcases how students are connecting math to real-world careers through interactive displays and personal research.
Organized by educators Penny Wagner and Miranda Cote, 8th-grade students interviewed community members about how they use math in their professions. The students then transformed their learning into essays and tri-fold displays that spotlight the importance of math in the workplace.
Explore dozens of careers through student-created projects, spanning fields such as construction, healthcare, finance, culinary arts, education, and more!
