The new school year is here, and Lansing Elementary and Intermediate families have a couple of fun opportunities to celebrate together!
Back-to-School Skate: August 26
Lansing K-5 students and families are invited to a Back-to-School Skate at Skate City Wyandotte on Wednesday, August 26, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.
The event will be held at Skate City Wyandotte, 7838 Washington Ave., Kansas City, KS 66112. Admission is $7, with skate rental available for an additional $2. Families can also take advantage of an $11 large pizza special during the event.
We hope our Lansing K-5 families can join in the fun and kick off the school year with an evening of skating!
Back-to-School Splash: August 29
The Lansing Lions PTA is also inviting families of Lansing Pre-K through fifth-grade students to a FREE Back-to-School Splash on Saturday, August 29, at the Lansing Aquatic Center, 630 W. Mary St.
Families can choose from two sessions:
Session 1:
12:30–2:15 p.m.
Session 2:
2:45–4:30 p.m.
Due to occupancy limits, RSVPs are required. Families can use the QR code on the event flyer to reserve their spot.
