Expectant families in Leavenworth County are invited to attend the 6th Annual Community Baby Shower, hosted by the Leavenworth County Breastfeeding Coalition. This free community event is designed to provide valuable education, resources, and essential baby items to help families prepare for the arrival of their newest family member.

The event will be held:

Saturday, July 25, 2026
9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Anthony Elementary School
570 Evergreen St.
Leavenworth, KS 66048

This event is open to Leavenworth County residents. Expectant mothers who attend in person will be eligible to receive free baby essentials, including a portable crib, a safe sleep sack, and other helpful items while supplies last.

In addition to giveaways, participants will have the opportunity to learn from local health professionals on important topics such as:

• Safe Sleep

• Breastfeeding

• Maternal Mental Health

• Smoking Cessation

• Understanding Purple Crying

The Community Baby Shower is an excellent opportunity for growing families to connect with local resources, ask questions, and receive support during pregnancy and the early stages of parenthood.
