It is with immense pride, joy, and deep gratitude that I write to you today as the newly appointed Principal of Lansing Intermediate School. Having served as your Assistant Principal for the past six years, I have experienced firsthand what makes our school community so extraordinarily special: our brilliant students, our dedicated educators, and your unwavering support.

Stepping into this new role feels like a natural progression of the work we have already been doing together. This transition offers our community an invaluable sense of continuity. Having already established meaningful relationships with our students, educators, and families, I understand the unique culture that makes our school thrive. This shared history ensures that we can bypass the typical transition period and immediately focus on elevating our students' academic and social success.

As your Principal, I am deeply committed to preserving the traditions we love while strategically pushing us forward. My primary focus areas for this school year will be:

• Academic Continuity & Excellence: Building upon our existing educational successes, supporting our instructional staff, and ensuring our classroom strategies remain rigorous, engaging, and collaborative.

• Deepening Relationships: Shifting my daily interactions from an administrative lens to a holistic, visionary leadership approach that uplifts our teachers, staff, families, and students alike.
