Question: How long have you worked in Lansing USD469?

Answer: First Year Teacher- September 2025

Question: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and the role you have within the school district?

Answer: My role in the school district is the 4th grade interrelated teacher. I am a friendly, kind, and caring educator who brings positive energy. I am committed to continually learning and growing in my professional skills.

Question: What do you enjoy most about your role and the work you do in the school district?

Answer: What I enjoy most about working in the school is the opportunity to make a daily impact on the student's growth, building relationships with the staff and students to help in the student's success.

Question: When you're not working, what hobbies or activities do you enjoy?

Answer: I enjoy racing, shopping, and spending time with my family.

Question: What is something unusual about you that most people don't know?

Answer: That I have worked for Target for 17 years.

Question: Could you share a particularly heartwarming or memorable experience you've had while working with students or colleagues?

Answer: I have earned a PRIDE Award as a first year teacher. I started the job in September and have had great success with all the students that I have been working with.

Question: What piece of advice would you like to offer to students to help them succeed and make the most of their educational journey?

Answer: When you keep putting in effort and refuse to give up, success becomes possible.
