Lansing High School will host the 5A Baseball Regional on Wednesday, May 20, bringing an exciting afternoon of postseason baseball to the community. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Lions as they compete for a chance to advance.  Regional action begins at 2:00 p.m. with Game 1 featuring #11 Highland Park taking on #6 Shawnee Heights. Approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opening game, #14 Sumner will face #3 Lansing in Game 2.  The Regional Championship game will begin approximately 30 minutes after Game 2 and will feature the winners of the first two matchups.  With a trip to the next round on the line, the tournament promises high-energy competition and a great atmosphere at the ballpark. Lansing Baseball Head Coach Brad Basler invites the community to come out and enjoy an afternoon of high-stakes high school baseball while cheering on the Lions.  “We would love to have everyone out to the park for some high-stakes high school baseball,” Basler shared.
