Lansing USD469 is excited to offer our annual Summer Strength, Speed & Conditioning Program for all students entering grades 5 through 12! The program will run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from June 1 through July 31, with August dates to be announced.
Led by district staff, including coordinator Jordan Moshier, the program is designed to support students of all fitness levels. Participation is open to all students and no prior athletic experience or team membership is required.
The program focuses on improving overall fitness, building strength and speed, and helping students reduce the risk of injury, while also creating a positive and engaging environment.
Daily Schedule
Sessions are organized by grade level and will take place at the following times:
High School Boys Conditioning (2 Groups)
6:30–8:30 a.m.
Start times are staggered at 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Students will be assigned to a group after their first session and may rotate start times throughout the summer.
High School Sport-Specific Sessions
8:30–10:00 a.m.
High School Girls Conditioning
10:00–11:00 a.m.
7th & 8th Grade Conditioning
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
5th & 6th Grade Conditioning
11:00–11:45 a.m.
7th-12th grade sessions will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while 5th and 6th grade sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Program Cost and Details
The cost to participate is $40 per student, with a family maximum of $65. All payments must be completed online and are due on or before the first day of attendance.
Please note that there will be no sessions held during the KSHSAA Summer Moratorium from June 29 - July 5.
