LHS Senior Jadyn Bollin Named Chamber Junior Citizen of the Year

Lansing High School senior Jadyn Bollin has been named the Leavenworth–Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce Junior Citizen of the Year, an honor that recognizes outstanding high school achievement and community involvement.

Bollin received the news in memorable fashion. During a cheer event on Friday, February 27, she briefly stepped away to accept the award, then returned right back to the game.

According to the Chamber’s Junior Citizen of the Year information packet, the award is open to seniors enrolled at Lansing, Leavenworth, or Pleasant Ridge High School. Applicants submit a completed application with an official transcript, written responses, and three letters of recommendation, one each from a teacher, a counselor, and a community member.

A committee of the Leavenworth–Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce reviews submissions and selects finalists based on the application materials.

The Junior Citizen of the Year Award includes a $1,000 scholarship that is awarded at the Leavenworth Lansing Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet celebration.

Lansing USD 469 congratulates Jadyn on this well-earned recognition and celebrates the leadership, service, and dedication she represents!
