Lansing USD 469 is pleased to announce that we are now using the Raptor Visitor Management System in all district buildings. This new system is part of our continued commitment to ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and visitors.
The Raptor system helps us:
Screen and track all visitors, contractors, and volunteers on campus.
Quickly identify anyone who may pose a safety concern.
Maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all.
Visitor Check-In Requirements
When visiting any school building, please bring a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a Driver’s License, Passport, or state-issued ID).
The system will scan your ID, take your photo, record your destination, and print a visitor badge.
If you do not have a U.S. government-issued ID, staff can manually enter your information using another form of photo identification.
The Raptor system only checks your information against the national database of registered sex offenders. No other data from your ID is stored or shared.
A visitor badge is not required for those only dropping off an item or picking up paperwork in the office.
Save Time with the Raptor Safe App
Visitors are encouraged to download the Raptor Safe app to create a Raptor Passport, which allows for a faster and easier check-in process at all participating schools.

Download the Raptor Safe app using the links above.
Enter your mobile phone number.
Scan your Driver’s License, Passport, or state-issued ID card.
Take a selfie to verify your identity.
Swipe up from the bottom of the app’s Home screen to reveal your Raptor Passport QR code.
When visiting, simply scan your Raptor Passport QR code at the school kiosk to check in and receive your badge. The entire process takes about one minute or less.
Signing Out
Before leaving the building, visit the kiosk, select Sign Out, and scan either the barcode on your visitor badge or your Raptor Passport QR code.
