Lansing High School seniors recently added some creativity to the parking lot during the annual “Paint the Spot” Day. This tradition allows seniors to personalize a parking space that will be theirs for the remainder of the school year, transforming the lot into a colorful display of individuality.
Students arrived armed with brushes, paint, and plenty of ideas, designing everything from bold patterns and fun graphics to meaningful messages and personal touches. Each spot is a unique reflection of the student’s personality and creativity, and together they create a vibrant gallery that welcomes the school community every day.
The event also serves a purpose - all proceeds from “Paint the Spot” went to support the Lansing Theatre program and this year’s productions. By participating, students not only secured a personalized parking spot but also contributed to the arts at LHS.
