Families with future kindergarteners are invited to attend Kindergarten Roundup at Lansing Elementary School this April. This event is designed for parents and guardians of incoming kindergarten students and provides helpful information about enrollment, required documents, and what to expect as your child begins their school journey.
If your child will be 5 years old by August 31, 2026, please plan to attend one of the following sessions:
Thursday, April 9, 2026
• Session 1: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Session 2: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday, April 10, 2026
• Session 3: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• Session 4: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Please note: There will be no school for current kindergarten students on Friday, April 10.
Documents Needed for Online Enrollment
Families will upload the following documents during the online enrollment process:
State Certificate of Live Birth
Updated Immunization Records
Student Health Assessment (physical completed within the last year)
Proof of Residence in the Lansing USD 469 District
(recent utility bill, housing contract, or lease agreement)Parent/Guardian Photo ID
