Lansing USD469 is proud to recognize Emilia Sanchez, a 5th-grade student at Lansing Intermediate School, as the October 2026 Student of the Month!

Emilia was recognized during the October Board of Education meeting for her positive attitude, kindness toward others, and commitment to doing her best each day.

Emilia consistently demonstrates Lansing Intermediate School's PRIDE values of Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, and Excellence.

Her teacher, Mrs. Martin, describes Emilia as an engaged learner who actively participates in classroom discussions and approaches assignments with a strong work ethic. In math, she eagerly answers questions, works to understand new concepts, and demonstrates a willingness to keep learning.

Beyond her academic efforts, Emilia is known for her kindness and willingness to help classmates. She treats others with respect, encourages those around her, and serves as a positive role model in her classroom.

Her friendly personality and caring attitude make her a valued member of the Lansing Intermediate School community.
