The Lansing Educational Foundation (LEF) visited schools across Lansing USD469 Friday afternoon for its annual PRIDE Patrol, recognizing educators who received classroom grants for the 2026-2027 school year.

Several LEF Board members and volunteers joined district administrators as they visited each building to surprise grant recipients with oversized checks.

“Pride Patrol is one of the best days of the year for the Lansing Educational Foundation," said LEF President and Lansing Alum Andrew Cameron. "There is something incredibly special about getting to walk into our schools and celebrate the teachers who are constantly finding new and innovative ways to serve their students. We are proud to invest in their ideas and help give them the resources to bring those ideas to life. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors and community partners, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued investment in Lansing students and teachers.”

This year, LEF awarded more than $25,000 in classroom grants to Lansing USD469 educators. The grants help provide additional resources, materials, and learning opportunities for students throughout the district.
