Three Lansing High School wrestlers are on their way to Fargo, North Dakota, to compete in one of the nation's most prestigious wrestling events.
Riley Dilka, Noah Mathis, and Sawyer Jorgensen will represent Team Kansas at the 2026 USA Wrestling Junior & 16U National Championships, commonly known as Fargo Nationals. The tournament brings together the country's top high school wrestlers, providing an opportunity to compete against elite talent from across the United States.
Accompanying them is Lansing High School Head Wrestling Coach Paul Hansen, who was selected to serve on the Team Kansas coaching staff.
Earning a spot on Team Kansas is no small accomplishment. Riley, Noah, and Sawyer have dedicated countless hours to training, competing, and refining their skills to earn the opportunity to wrestle on one of the biggest stages in high school wrestling.
As they step onto the mat this week, they will proudly represent not only Kansas, but also the Lansing community.
We wish Riley, Noah, Sawyer, and Coach Hansen the very best of luck throughout the tournament. Your Lansing Lion family is cheering you on from home!
Go Lions, and Go Team Kansas!
