The City of Lansing is inviting our youngest residents to help imagine and design the future of our community through a fun and interactive event called Box City.

As part of the Lansing Comprehensive Plan process, elementary-aged students will have the opportunity to learn about city planning and create their own vision for Lansing. Participants will explore what makes a community thrive and discover how planning decisions shape the places where we live, learn, work, and play.

• Who: Elementary-aged residents

Community leaders want to hear from all generations, including children, as they work to create a shared vision for Lansing's future. Students are encouraged to bring their creativity and excitement as they help build the Lansing of tomorrow.
