The Lansing USD 469 Board of Education recognized members of the Lansing High School Girls Swim Team during its June meeting in honor of their outstanding 2026 season and Kansas State Championship.

Student-athletes and Head Coach David Bresser were recognized for their accomplishments both in competition and in the classroom. In addition to capturing the state title, the team earned recognition for achieving the highest team GPA among girls swim programs in Kansas.

Board members congratulated the swimmers and Coach Bresser on their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. The recognition highlighted not only the team's athletic success but also the hard work and discipline demonstrated throughout the season.

The Board thanked the student-athletes, coaching staff, and families for representing Lansing High School and the Lansing community with pride.
