Last night, Lansing USD 469 honored seven dedicated staff members during a retirement reception hosted by the Lansing Board of Education at the Lansing District Office. Family members, friends, coworkers, and district leaders gathered to celebrate the careers and lasting contributions of the retirees as they prepare to begin a new chapter in their lives.  The district recognized the following retirees for their years of service and commitment to Lansing students, staff, and families:  Dana Blew Chris Cristiano Diane Kelly Anne Krebs Keri Litewski Tina Silva Rachel Szmed  The reception provided an opportunity for colleagues and community members to reflect on the impact each retiree has made throughout their career in Lansing USD 469. Guests enjoyed refreshments while sharing memories, stories, and words of appreciation for the retirees’ dedication to education and service to the district.  Retirement celebrations are an important tradition in Lansing USD 469, offering the district an opportunity to recognize the meaningful relationships and positive influence staff members leave behind after years of supporting students and contributing to school communities.
