Lansing USD 469 is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Junior Varsity Cheer Sponsor.
This position is a great opportunity for someone with a background in cheerleading who is passionate about working with students and building a strong, positive team culture. The JV Cheer Sponsor will lead and develop the junior varsity squad, supporting skill development, teamwork, and school spirit.
We are especially interested in candidates who are eager to grow within the program, as this role has the potential to develop into a Head Sponsor position in the future.
Qualifications:
Experience in cheerleading (coaching or participation preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to build relationships with student-athletes
Commitment to building a positive and inclusive team environment
