Prom season is right around the corner, and Monarch Formals is ready to help students step into the spotlight with confidence, style, and affordability at the Prom Extravaganza 2026.
Located in downtown Leavenworth, Monarch Formals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing formal wear for those in need. With thousands of dresses in inventory, both new and gently used, students have access to an incredible selection of styles, colors, and sizes for only a monetary donation.
One of the most unique aspects of Monarch Formals is that the program is not income-based. The goal is simple: ensure every student has the opportunity to attend prom feeling confident and beautiful, regardless of financial circumstances.

Monarch Formals is also proud to promote sustainability through fashion. By recycling and reusing formal wear, the organization helps reduce waste while giving stunning dresses a second life.
How It Works
Students must schedule an appointment to shop. No walk-ins are allowed. During their appointment, students can browse the extensive inventory and select the dress that makes them feel their best.

A monetary donation is required at the time of service
All dresses remain the property of Monarch Formals
Students must sign a contract agreeing to return items after prom
