Week two of the Forensics season brought a new level of competition for our students as they traveled to Washburn Rural for a significantly larger tournament than the opening week. Despite the increased field, the team rose to the challenge and delivered an impressive weekend of performances and results.
Several students took important steps toward qualifying for the National Individual Event Tournament of Champions (NIETOC), a national competition held in Minnesota each May. To qualify for NIETOC, students must earn two bids in a single event, and this weekend marked a strong start. Four different entries secured their first NIETOC bid, along with multiple state qualifications.
