Kirsten Workman Board Appreciation

January is Board Appreciation Month, a time to recognize and thank the dedicated individuals who serve our students, staff, and community through their leadership on the Lansing USD 469 Board of Education. We are pleased to highlight Ms. Kirsten Workman and recognize her service and commitment to public education.

About Kirsten Workman
Kirsten is a wife and mother whose personal and professional life reflects a strong commitment to service, education, and community involvement.

Professional & Community Service
Kirsten is a registered nurse and professional educator. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has practiced nursing since 2009 and brings several years of full-time teaching experience as a university-level nursing instructor.

Outside the Board Room
Kirsten is active in her community and church and enjoys volunteering her time in service to others. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and reading and values opportunities to stay engaged and give back.
