Lansing USD 469 is excited to bring back Community Connect, a unique opportunity for parents, grandparents, and community members to experience a day in the life of our schools alongside our staff.
Community Connect offers participants a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to serve our students each day.
Participants may:
Shadow a student's daily schedule
Assist with lunch duty
Supervise recess
Help with car line drop-off and pick-up
This opportunity provides valuable insight into the many roles our staff play in supporting students throughout the school day.
For the safety of our students, all participants must complete and pass a background check prior to participation.
Those interested are invited to complete the Google Form linked below to express interest. The form helps us match volunteers with an appropriate school and date. Due to limited availability, participants will be selected through a lottery system.
