Lansing High School sophomore Paytin Beeman has been named the district’s December Student of the Month for her outstanding leadership, kindness, and commitment to supporting others.
Paytin is a standout peer in Unified Physical Education, where she brings positivity and encouragement to class each day. She is known for arriving with a smile, maintaining a welcoming attitude, and working respectfully with every student. Paytin often chooses to partner with classmates who need extra support, demonstrating compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
Her leadership extends beyond the gym. Paytin is a dedicated member of the Unified Bowling Team, where she not only competes as an athlete but also actively supports multiple teammates, helping remove barriers so everyone can participate fully. She is also involved in the Puzzle Club and several other school activities, balancing her own responsibilities while stepping up to assist others.
