Mayor's Annual Angel Tree Program

The City of Lansing is once again spreading holiday cheer through the Mayor’s Annual Christmas Tree Program. This program provides Christmas assistance to Lansing residents who may be facing financial hardship. Eligible applicants can receive gifts for children in the household, thanks to the generosity of community donors and local partners who make this program possible each year.

Application Details

To be considered for the program, complete the application and return it to:

Lansing City Hall – City Clerk’s Office
800 1st Terrace, Lansing, KS

Deadline: Noon on Friday, October 24, 2025
No exceptions will be made.

Applications must include proof of income for all income-earning individuals in the household. Incomplete applications or missing documentation may result in disqualification.

Important Eligibility Information

  • Applicants must be Lansing residents.

  • All City of Lansing trash and/or sewer accounts must be current or have an established payment arrangement to qualify.

  • Income eligibility limits are based on household size and total annual or monthly income (see full chart on the application).

  • Children 18 years and older are not eligible to receive gifts.

Families are asked to provide children’s clothing sizes, shoe sizes, book preferences, and gift wish lists (with items valued at $50 or under). Alternative gift options may be listed in case a preferred item is unavailable.
