BMX riders jumping

Lansing High School was proud to host the No Hate High School Tour, now in its 25th year of inspiring students across the nation.  This unique program blends the excitement of professional BMX athletes with powerful lessons about creating a safe and supportive school environment.

Riders wowed our students with high-energy stunts while also sharing personal stories about overcoming bullying, surrounding yourself with positive influences, and choosing kindness.

A highlight of the show came when one of the riders launched into the air and jumped over Coach Hansen, bringing the gym to life with cheers and showing how action sports can capture attention while delivering a meaningful message.

Through this experience, our students walked away with practical tools for:

  • Preventing bullying both online and offline

  • Being an ally and promoting inclusion

  • Strengthening problem-solving and leadership skills

  • Supporting mental health awareness

  • Building resilience and choosing kindness every day

At Lansing High School, we are committed to ensuring every student feels safe, respected, and valued — and the No Hate Tour was an exciting reminder that standing up for one another can be both powerful and fun.
