During the September 8, 2025, Board of Education meeting, Lansing USD469 recognized Lansing High School sophomore, Evan Leon.
Evan is a student who consistently gives his all. Outside of school, he helps his step-dad run the family business and takes on the responsibility of caring for his two younger siblings. Inside the classroom and on the football field, Evan demonstrates the same commitment and positive attitude.
His teacher shared this heartfelt nomination:
“Evan is a hard-working, positive young man who is always willing to help and do the right things. He has a great sense of humor, is engaged in class, and is incredibly coachable on the football field. I’d take a whole class of Evan Leons.”
