During the June 9, 2025, Board of Education meeting, Lansing USD469 recognized an outstanding seventh-grade student who exemplifies the values of our district. It is with great pleasure that we introduce our June Student of the Month: Miss Jeniffer Ntkirutimana.
Jeniffer is the embodiment of what it means to be a Lansing Lion—she is dedicated, kind, and an inspiration to everyone around her. Known for her respectful demeanor and eagerness to learn, Jeniffer has made a significant impact within her school community.
Her teacher, Mindy Brinker, who nominated her for this recognition, shared the following:
“Jeniffer is a model student in every way. She always comes to class prepared with her work done, asks questions when she has them, participates and enriches class discussions, offers assistance to peers, and is always kind and courteous to everyone she encounters. Jeniffer has many close friendships and is friends with just about everyone she meets. She is an asset to Lansing Middle School!”
Jeniffer's commitment to academic excellence, positive attitude, and compassion for others make her a shining example for her peers. Her ability to lift others up, stay engaged in learning, and build meaningful connections is a testament to her character and leadership.
