Mufasa Leadership Award Winners

Lansing Intermediate School recently held its annual Mufasa Leadership Award Ceremony, recognizing students who consistently demonstrate leadership and live out the school’s PRIDE values: perseverance, respect, integrity, diligence, and excellence.

“The Mufasa Leadership Award is awarded to students who have demonstrated exemplary leadership skills and exhibited all of our PRIDE values,” said Principal Martin Altieri. “It is the most prestigious award given to LIS students and is the culmination of their efforts throughout the year.”

The ceremony ended on a fun note with Mr. Altieri taking a pie to the face. The honor went to a student who won a raffle prize during the school’s recent glow dance.

Congratulations to all the students who received this year’s Mufasa Award!
