On Saturday, January 25, Lansing Elementary School was filled with laughter, excitement, and a cozy pajama-clad crowd as the Lansing PTA K-5 hosted its highly anticipated Pajama Book Bingo event. Families from Lansing Elementary School (LES) and Lansing Intermediate School (LIS) came together to enjoy an afternoon of fun, community bonding, and, of course, Bingo!
The event saw a phenomenal turnout, with families embracing the opportunity to play Bingo and win books, all while dressed in their comfiest pajamas. Dr. Jennifer Kolb, principal of Lansing Elementary School, shared her enthusiasm for the event: "We had a phenomenal turnout at our Saturday K5 PTA Pajama Bingo event at Lansing Elementary School! Our fantastic PTA organized and hosted our students and families. Our inclusive playground committee participated in a hot chocolate fundraiser, and a great time was had."
Hot cocoa and snacks were available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Inclusive Playground Committee, a group dedicated to enhancing play opportunities for all students.
The Lansing PTA continues to play a vital role in bringing families together through engaging and meaningful events like this one. Their commitment to fostering connections within the school community shines through every event they organize.
Thank you to all the families who attended and to the PTA volunteers who made the Pajama Book Bingo a memorable success. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to gather as a community!
