Lansing High School September 22nd Homecoming Football Game Theme and Reminder
Join Lansing High School for our Homecoming Football Game on Friday, September 22nd at 7:00 p.m.! The theme is Blackout / Starry Night. Homecoming Court will be announced at Half-Time, and our Band will do their annual glow performance after the game. Lights in the stadium will be shut off during the performance.
We are encouraging our students and staff to participate in the following spirit days throughout the week:
- Tuesday: Generation Day
- EC, LIS, LMS: dress as a teenager, college/ adult, or senior citizen
- LES: Picture day - "Cute Kids Day"
- LHS: seniors dress as senior citizens, juniors as college/adults, Sophomores as teens, Freshmen as kids
- Wednesday: Lion Pride - wear Lansing spirit gear
- Thursday: Hawaiian Day - dress tropical/touristy
- Friday: Starry Night / Blackout - dress in all-black
We're excited for the community to come out and support our band, cheerleaders, and athletes.
As a reminder:
- Student performances are the focus of the event. No one should be on the practice football field, soccer fields, or other areas away from the stadium.
- All elementary, intermediate, and middle school-aged students attending this season's high school home sporting events and activities must have a parent or guardian enter the stadium with them and stay to chaperone for the entirety of the event.
- The middle school cheering section is on the south side of the stadium near the concession stand (see map below).
- Students cannot enter the stadium from the tailgate area.
- Please do not bring balls, frisbees, or other items to the game.
- Spectators who are disruptive will be asked to leave.
