Congratulations to the LINCS Students Who Graduated on May 18th! (VIDEO)
On behalf of Lansing USD469, congratulations to the LINCS students, Kaylee, Steven, and Tanner, who graduated from the program on May 18th.
The graduation ceremony, which was held at Lansing Intermediate School, was a heartwarming event filled with proud parents, siblings, friends, and the dedicated staff who have supported these students every step of the way.
After the ceremony, a reception was held outside the front office of the school, providing an opportunity for attendees to congratulate the graduates.
LINCS (Learning Independence in Natural Community Settings) is a Special Education Program for 18-21 year olds who have met the requirements for education, but who have yet to complete their IEP goals. Students work jobs, learn to be independent, and become empowered to make informed decisions about their future throughout their time in the LINCS program.
Lansing wishes these three amazing students well in their future. We are happy to have them in our Lansing alumni family!
