Lansing USD469 Celebrates Nurse Appreciation Day
Lansing USD469 showed appreciation for the nurses who help keep the district healthy and safe by celebrating Nurse Appreciation Day on Wednesday, May 10th.
Each of the district's buildings did something special for their nurses, from creating signs and cards to gifting them with flowers. District office staff also made a point to visit each school and deliver goody bags to the nurses to thank them for their hard work.
Kristen Dilka, the district's Nurse Coordinator, went above and beyond to make the day extra special for the nurses. She showered them with gifts such as matching shirts, a bingo game, and bags.
Nurse Appreciation Day is celebrated annually on May 10th and is a chance to recognize and thank nurses for their dedication to providing quality healthcare services.
