Update of Lansing High School Students and Graduates Enrolled in KCKCC PCC - Construction and Culinary
Lansing USD 469 is proud to highlight our Lansing High School students and graduates enrolled in Kansas City Kansas Community Center Pioneer Career Center (KCKCC PCC) each week.
Construction
Air Line
Construction students are expanding their lab space and making equipment more accessible while in different areas of the lab. Students added an air line from the main workshop to the cutting area. The hard piped air line will give them easy access to the air compressor.

Culinary
Culinary students have been designing and opening their Capstone Café’s this semester. Each student developed their own design of a Restaurant/Bakery. In this Final Practical, they not only created their brand/logo, but also designed a kitchen layout; spreadsheets on costing recipes and kitchen equipment cost; planned the food flow of the kitchen; presented a business plan on their business concept and planned how they would raise the money needed to open their business. Our Capstone students also learned customer service skills while handling cash register procedures.
