High School KAYs Students Organize Successful Blood Drive: 33 Units Collected, Saving Up to 99 Lives!
We are thrilled to report the outstanding success of the blood drive held on March 23rd organized by our high school KAYS students and led by students Patrick Wong and Emma Miller and Coach Jackie Sells.
Thirty-three units were collected at the event, which saw eight first-time donors. The units will go a long way in saving the lives of up to 99 patients who urgently require blood transfusions. Every year, thousands of people depend on blood donations to survive, and the success of this blood drive is a testament to the compassion and commitment of our community.
Thank you to Coach Jackie Sells and the KAYS students for their hard work organizing the blood drive. We also thank all the donors who came forward to give the gift of life.
