LV Lansing JROTC Drill Teams: 1st Place Overall Grand Champions at Waynesville High School Competition
On Saturday, January 21st, the LV Lansing JROTC Drill Teams showed their skills and dedication as they traveled to Waynesville, MO, to compete at Waynesville High School. The Pioneer Guard was represented by three Lansing High School students, Tyler Fick, Vinni Scillieri, and Zively Gonzalez, while the Calvary Angels had Gabrielle Ohwovoriole and Cristiana Scillieri.
This event was no small competition, with 17 teams traveling from across the Midwest, including Chicago, IL, Oklahoma, and Wichita, KS, to showcase their talent and compete for top honors.The LV Lansing JROTC Drill Teams showed what they were made of, putting in their all to achieve impressive results.
It was a day of extraordinary accomplishment for the LV Lansing JROTC Drill Teams, as they emerged as the 1st Place Overall Grand Champions of the competition. Their hard work and determination were evident, as they also placed 1st in the Unarmed Division and 2nd in the Armed Division.
The teams also shone in the various categories of the competition, placing 1st in Unarmed Exhibition and Unarmed Regulation Team 1, 2nd in Unarmed Regulation Team 2, Armed Exhibition, and Armed Regulation, and 3rd in Armed Color Guard.
