Lansing Middle School 8th-Grade Football Team Goes Undefeated!
Congratulations to our Lansing Middle school 8th-grade football team for going undefeated this season with a 7- 0 record, winning the Kaw Valley League (KVL)! This was the first time since the 8th graders went undefeated in six years. Coached by Coach Cretors and Coach Hart, the boys had the time of their lives.
"They have been an awesome team and have some impressive stats to back it up," said Coach Cretors. "They averaged 36 points a game on offense and averaged giving up only about 4 points a game on defense."
Their record this season was an impressive one, with the following scores each game:
- Atchison 20-6
- Turner 44-0
- Lexington trails 22-0
- Leavenworth 32-0
- Basehor 30-6
- Mill creek 16-14
The team wrapped up their season on October 10th with a team meal provided by coaches and parents and a game under the lights at the Lansing High School football field. They rounded out the season with a 56-0 win over Patton Junior High and a photo of players with their biggest fan, their moms.
